Review Customer Requirements

The process begins with a review of your requirements. ACS understands that each customer is unique.  Even customers of the same specialty will have different staff and offer different services.

ACS will now gather as much information as possible on the nature of your accounts and current in-house procedures. Any special requirements and concerns are addressed and a general approach (Friendly payment consultants? Aggressive collectors? Soft sell?) Is discussed and agreed upon. Reporting processes and formats are also established at this time.

Some customers may want all the services we offer and some may select only a few. With our diversified, “one-stop-shopping and best in class” service, we can customize our services to each customer's needs.

Develop a Client-Specific Collection Strategy

The account executive reviews all of the information gathered with management and a client services representative experienced in the client's industry. A collection strategy is developed and a collection team is selected.

Receive Initial Account Placements

The initial placements are received, reviewed, and divided among the collection team members

Implement Collection Strategy

Once the initial placements have been reviewed with the collection team and the strategy discussed, the collection process is initiated.

Monitor Results

Monitoring results is critical to effective collection.  Changes that might help speed up the collection process are made on an ongoing basis.

Analyze Results

Once the initial cycle is completed, the results are analyzed to determine the effectiveness of the approach. Recovery rates are evaluated against initial projections and forecasts of long-term recovery potential are then developed.

Prepare Status and Performance Reports

Initial reports are prepared. Any special considerations that arose during the collection process are documented and evaluated.

Initial Results Presented to Client

Results are presented to the client along with the special strategy considerations noted in the initial collection process. Potential strategy changes are discussed with the client.

Refine Strategy

The purpose of initial cycle evaluation is to confirm the effectiveness of our strategy. Based on how well the initial results met the client's (and our) expectations, the account executive and the client services representatives make any refinements necessary to the process.Successful business or an expanding institution, management of that cycle is the key to success.

Review with Client

There is no magic to our collection management cycle. It's primary value is that, through continuous monitoring, refinement, and review, it assures the client that his or her collections are being managed efficiently, effectively, and professionally.

The cornerstone of your relationship with ACS is your account executive. Your account executive is assigned, not only based on collection experience, but also for his or her experience in your particular industry. Your account executive knows the regulations governing your industry, and understands the subtleties and unique characteristics of your market. He or she is responsible for advising management on your organization's specific requirements as your collection strategy is developed. In addition to your account executive, a client services representative is also assigned to work directly with your organization. Your representative is responsible for the day-to-day activity on your account.

Once management and your account executive have developed a collection strategy, an orientation meeting is set up to review that strategy with your entire account team.  All delinquent accounts are processed immediately upon receipt so that we can respond quickly and optimize the impact of debt recovery on your bottom line. The collection process is carefully monitored and reviewed throughout implementation. Using state-of-the-art technology and on-line access to credit bureaus and national credit databases, our collection staff can handle a large number of accounts quickly and efficiently with a tremendously high rate of return.

Our goal is to provide you the highest return of anyone in the collection industry.  Although our contingency fees are competitive with most professionally managed services we believe that proven results for our clients are the best measure of our success. Although our strategies for debt recovery may differ from industry to industry, market-to-market, and even client-to-client, we've found that our time-tested and proven professional account management approach optimizes debt recovery no matter what the collection strategy. It is important to note that debt recovery is a continuous cycle. and, in a successful business or an expanding institution, management of that cycle is the key to success.
